Legal nurse consultants work with either plaintiff or defense attorneys, primarily in the background, to assist in preparation of the case. We are registered nurses, not attorneys, we advise only to the medical aspects of any case. While not all attorneys want to take advantage of all or our services, some of the services we provide include:
- Identify, interpret, and review medical records for merit.
- Identify applicable standards of care, as well as adherence or deviations from those standards.
- Prepare verbal or written reports.
- Review facility policies and procedures
- Conduct medical and nursing literature review

Nurse Life Care Planner.
A nurse life care planner is a registered nurse who uses the critical thinking of the nursing process to provide assessment, analysis, issue identification to formulate an individualized comprehensive plan of care to acheive optimal outcomes. The nurse life care planner uses standards of care and collaboration with health care professionals to calculate associated reasonable cost of care, services and goods necessary to achieve desired health outcomes over the estimated life span.We will testify as to how the life care plan was formulated.
